Two practices
These are separate commissions. Generator maintenance is the third, and it is written on its own page.
Server rooms, data centres, and similar critical spaces receive a conditioned, continuous supply of their own. The design, the installation, and the service interval belong to that space. They are not part of the generator contract.
The meaning is specific. The critical load does not take raw site power. The supply is held continuous and electrically clean, so an interruption or a disturbance elsewhere on the site does not reach the equipment.
Diesel generating sets are serviced on a separate plan: inspection, scheduled work, and readiness. That practice is on the maintenance page.

Plant control
This practice is plant control. It is not power protection, and it is not generator maintenance. The layer is DEIF power management, PLC logic, site automation, and PSC lithium batteries.
Starts, protects, and synchronizes a diesel set. Sets on the same network find each other and share the load.
Synchronizes the utility breaker and watches the incoming supply, so the plant and the grid meet cleanly.
Synchronizes a bus-tie breaker, so sections of the plant can be joined or separated without dropping the load.
Runs photovoltaic generation and the diesel set as one system, with protection on both.
Controls the PV inverters in a hybrid plant, on a new site or on a plant that already has diesel.

Start, stop, and interlock sequences written in the PLC, so the plant follows a program rather than a manual changeover.
